Bainimarama dangles carrots to foot-soldiers

You know when the illegal and treasonous Bainimarama is feeling jittery when he see's fit to address his foot soldiers and entices them with promises that are well beyond his remit, to make good on.

This is why Bainimarama has given his key fellow illegal and treasonous, men marching orders to get out there to talk up the RFMF's abilities: Rt Inoke Kubuabola, Peter Thompson, Rt Epeli Nailatikau and Solo Mara, are but a few.

For Bainimarama's sake, we hope his men will not be disappointed again.

He says Fiji is doing preparatory work for the deployment. Bainimarama says the UN is hopeful that Fiji will provide the numbers needed.

He has urged the soldiers not to abuse the trust and faith that the UN has in Fiji.

Bainimarama told the soldiers to continue to uplift their standard of service.

The United Nations Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) is protected by the UN Guard Unit (UNGU) made up of the 1st Battalion of the RFMF, at a strength of 223 Fijians led by Colonel Netani Rika.
